Now more open due to recent felling, this is a sun trap throughout the year. With the open area at the base of the crag and grades ranging from 4 to 7b this is a fantastic crag for learning the art of sport climbing.

Access

Follow the A835 from Dingwall past the Brahan Holiday Cottages, until you see the crag on the hillside on your right. Park beside the forest entrance, keeping vehicular access free. Please keep to main tracks being created by local worthies including the Old Man of Moy, who can be seen occasionally with a spade when the conditions are right.

What to be aware of:

  • Despite the heavy traffic this crag has seen, loose pebbles are often found on conglomerate crags.
