Belaying is the most important job we do in climbing, so it’s good to know more than the basics. With these workshops we aim to give you the advanced skills and knowledge to keep your climber off the deck!

The Advanced Belaying workshop is run by experienced instructors at a 1:6 ratio, and will cover:

1. What is considered “Best Practice” lead belaying skills
2. How to give the mythical “Soft-Catch”
3. A chance to explore and experience new belay devices and learn how each works

These courses are open to all climbers (14+) and experience level. Our experienced instructor will run these at a 1:6 ratio, and can tailor the content to the needs of everyone attending.
