Competitions calendar 2023

ClimbScotland along with Mountaineering Ireland and BMC/GB Climbing are pleased to announce our provisional competition schedule for 2023!

The Four Nations Cup Series returns for it's second year which has been developed in close collaboration with Mountaineering Ireland and BMC.

The Four Nation Cup Series will involve four boulder and four lead events run in Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales. Competitors can enter an individual event or the entire series to be crowned series Champion.

All-Nation Boulder Cup Series

  • 21-22 Jan – English Boulder Cup - Venue: Rockover Climbing Centre, Manchester
  • 25-26 Feb – Irish Boulder Cup - Venue: Gravity Climbing Centre, Dublin
  • 25-26 Mar – Welsh Boulder Cup - Venue: Roc Bloc, Cardiff
  • 29 Apr - Scottish Youth Boulder Championship - Venue: Eden Rock, Edinburgh


All-Nation Roped Cup Series

  • 6-7 May – Irish Lead Cup - Venue: Awesome Walls, Dublin
  • 20-21 May – Welsh Lead Cup - Venue: Beacon Climbing Centre, Caernarfon
  • 3-4 Jun - Scottish Lead and Speed Championships - Venue: EICA Ratho, Edinburgh
  • 29-30 Jul - English Lead Cup - Venue: The Quay, Exeter


British Championships

  • 24-25 Jun - Junior British Boulder Championships - Venue: Harrowall, London
  • 1-2 Jul - British Boulder Championships - Clifhanger Festival, Sheffield
  • 9-10 Sept - British Lead & Speed Championships - Venue: EICA, Scotland
  • 14-15 October- Junior British Lead Championships - Venue: Big Depot Leeds


Para Climbing Series

  • 20-21 May - British Paraclimbing Series, Round 1 - Venue: Beacon Climbing Centre, Caernarfon
  • 3-4 June - British Paraclimbing Series, Round 2 - TBC
  • 9-10 Sept - British Paraclimbing Series, Round 3 - Venue: EICA, Scotland

Log files
